Make a Birthday Offering
If you would like to make a birthday offering in to support Pema’s work, please consider making a donation of any amount.
Anyone who makes an offering of $250 or more to any of Pema’s projects below will receive a copy of a deluxe limited edition of Pema’s bestseller When Things Fall Apart. Each copy comes in a slipcover, and contains a small art print individually signed by Pema. There are a limited number of these available.
Any donations, large or small, are greatly appreciated. If you’d like to make a donation to The Foundation, you could do so in the form of a check, pledge, or credit card.
There are other ways to give, such as charitable gift annuities, bequests, and Charitable Remainder Trusts. Please feel free to write, or call to explore these possibilities further.

With the support of many of you, we’ve raised the funds needed for the construction of a three-year retreat center, to be named Pema Chödrön Drubde, for the nuns of of Tsoknyi Gechak Ling nunnery in Chobhar, Nepal. Donate to the Monastic College of Surmang Dutsi Til
Surmang was the monastic seat of Pema’s principal teacher, Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, until the Chinese invasion in 1957. Pema and The Pema Chödrön Foundation are committed to help bring the building of the Monastic College of Surmang Dutsi Til to completion by the end of 2015. When completed, the college will profoundly benefit the monks and nuns, but will also serve the spiritual and cultural needs of the local community, which is so central to their traditional way of life.
